Dreamt it, designed it, wore it

This collaboration with Inkse was a blast! From start to finish, I had full creative freedom, which is every artist’s dream. No boxes to stay inside. No rules to follow. Just pure expression.

Working with a brand that gets creativity and trusts the process? That’s rare and exactly what made this collab so special. Huge thanks to Inkse for letting me run wild with ideas and bring something fresh to life.

Creative Freedom Meets Collab Magic

Inkse invited me to collaborate on their new sleepwear category by creating a custom pyjama set featuring one of my existing illustrations. They were drawn to my lucky cat design and wanted to bring it to life on a pair of gifted custom pyjamas, in exchange for social media content such as an unboxing video or photos.

My Project with Inkse

01) The Brief

The challenge was to translate my illustration style into a wearable sleepwear design that felt true to VeevoDesigns while still fitting Inkse’s blank apparel format. The design needed to feel playful, visually appealing, and versatile enough for lounging, sleeping, or casual wear. I also wanted it to reflect my brand’s Asian-inspired aesthetic in a thoughtful and accessible way.

02) The Problem

I developed a lucky cat-inspired repeating pattern for the pyjama set, using vibrant colours, soft details, and a cozy visual style that matched both my brand and the sleepwear concept. I refined the cat illustration, added lucky cat elements, and created mockups to show how the pattern would work across the full set. The final design turned the original illustration into a fun, wearable piece that felt personal, culturally inspired, and aligned with VeevoDesigns’ playful identity.

03) The Solution

04) The Process (as shown below)

As planned (and hyped), an unboxing of the PJs was on the menu — and voilà, here’s what went down:
