About VeevoDesigns
I am a graphic design student who has decided to start her creative journey in September 2023. Corporate life was not what I wanted to do with the rest of my life, and I was eager to create. In May 2024, I returned to my native land and discovered the beauty in the smallest of details. I began to refine my definition of who I am and what I aspire to be. As a digital illustrator and artist, I create vibrant prints and playful accessories that celebrate the richness of my Australian Vietnamese heritage.
Drawing inspiration from the sights, flavors, and traditions of Vietnamese culture, my work often highlights the beloved dishes, customs, and stories that shape my identity. I also explore the beauty of other Asian cuisines, such as Japanese dishes and desserts, weaving them into my art to reflect the diverse influences that inspire me.
Each piece is crafted with a commitment to authenticity and originality, as I aim to capture not just the visual appeal of food and culture, but the emotions and connections they evoke. Whether through bold colors, intricate patterns, or whimsical details, my artwork invites viewers to experience a vibrant world where food, culture, and creativity intertwine. I believe in the power of art to tell stories and create connections, and I strive to create pieces that resonate with others, celebrating both my heritage and the universal joy of sharing a meal.
Here's the story behind how I designed my logo!

1) During this process, I explored several creative ways to combine my initials, A & V, focusing on making the letter-mark visually engaging and unique, while maintaining a sense of balance and harmony in the design.

2) After reviewing the wide range of sketches I had created, I carefully narrowed it down to three standout options. I then took the time to refine each one a bit further, exploring different variations to see if any of them truly captured the direction I was envisioning for my logo design.

3) I ultimately chose the second design, where the lowercase 'a' mirrors the shape of my hair, and I adjusted the 'v' to sit within the ear's pocket. The main focus remains on the 'a.' I found it clever how I was able to use a single letter to represent my hair shape, and with the addition of glasses, it gives a nod to my personal look.
